Distributed Subtitling System
Distributed Subtitling System

From its foundation, Anglatècnic has worked in television and come into contact with the host of systems used in the industry. The vast experience gleaned as a result has made the company a pioneer in its sector. If you need a special tool to deal with the gathering and processing of any kind of data, you can rely on us to come up with the solution you are seeking. We publish, edit and gather the information that best suits your needs.

Some examples of work done:

  • Connection to continuity systems for the publication of programme schedules through IP packets.
  • Gathering information from serial ports (RS-232, RS-422, etc).
  • Interaction with news servers (I-News, Basys, etc.).
  • Format conversions.
  • Control over alarms and equipment management.

They are Teletext-based projects, interactive systems for DTT, Internet, corporate Intranet, e-mail, etc., for example:

  • SiSDi video subtitling management and distribution system. A web environment with dynamic pages and database support carries out all the requisite operations:
    • Administration of users from the various departments concerned through a user name and password combination. The user's access is limited to the privileges accorded by their user profile.
    • Automatic entry of film data on the network's programme schedule or manual entry through a web form.
    • Administration and management of coding equipment, which turn video tape signals into a video file (preview, equipment control, coding state, etc).
    • Management and recording of coded videos to CD or DVD (recording state, etc).
    • Management of despatches to subtitlers, whether by CD or over the Internet.
