Audio Description
The Audiodescription Editor is a software for creating audiodescriptions for the blind and visually impaired (using the corresponding Fingertext Inserter, it can be broadcast as one of the DTT audio components, as one of the two audios of the analog TV, as one audio track of a DVD, etc.).

- Use and control of video files (play, fast forward, frame by frame, etc).
- Fast edition of time codes (the software can read the vertical time codes of a film that is being played from tape or read the image-synchronised file frames).
- Graphic display of the audiodescription segment in accordance with the programme parameters set.
- Graphic display of the programm's audio. It allows to see visually the place where the audiodescription can be inserted.
- Audio level and audio attenuation indicator to ensure the same level is maintained between Audiodescriptors.
- Indicator of the time remaining for the segment of audiodescription in the TC window.
- Preparation of texts and TCs for audiodescriptions. This allows one person to prepare the audiodescription (indicating TCs and the corresponding text for each segment of audiodescription) while another makes the recording.
- Recording and testing of each segment of audiodescription.
- Provides all the commands found in an ordinary editor and ensures easy navigation between the various segments of audiodescription.
- When a segment of audiodescription is being recorded, information on the preceding and following one is also displayed.
- Automatic simulation of the audiodescription.
- It allows to generate a mp3 audio file with the mixture of the programme audio and the audiodescription with its corresponding fades.
- It allows to generate an EBU WAV file with or without the mixture of both audios.
